BOOKING
HELP

The following steps will guide you through the process of booking a cottage. Please note that if you need help at any time you can call our local reservations team on 01580 720 770 who would be happy to guide you through the process or take your reservation by telephone.

  1. Click on the 'Book Now' button. This is an orange button located down the left hand side of the page.
  2. Use the drop-down menus to select how many nights you would like to go for, the month, what day you would like your holiday to start, the number of adults, children, infants and pets.
  3. When you have selected when you would like to go an availability listing will appear below the menu along with the price for the specified period. Where a line appears in green this means the property is available, or a grey line signifies that the property is already booked.
  4. Once you have found when you would like to go and would like to proceed to book the property, click on the orange 'Book This' button to the right. This will begin the booking process.
  5. There are 4 steps to the booking process. The first requires you to enter your details into the form provided. Please click on the orange 'Next Step' button at the bottom-right once you have fully completed the requested information.
  6. The next step requires you to enter the names and approximate ages of all the people staying at the property. Once complete, please proceed by using the orange 'Next Step' button.
  7. The third step summarises the total price including your booking fee and allows you to mention any specific requests you may have in the box provided. You will also need to specify how you would like to pay for your cottage, by either paying now by using a credit or debit card, or later by phone, bank transfer or cheque. You must also tick the box which confirms you have agreed to our terms and conditions before clicking on the orange 'Pay Now' button to proceed to the final step.
  8. If you have chosen to pay by credit or debit card please complete the information in the boxes provided then click on the orange 'Complete' button.
  9. A booking confirmation page will appear and you will be sent an email with a breakdown of costs and details of your arrival/departure dates. Please note, if you have chosen to pay later then this booking is provisional and you must contact us within five days to arrange payment.

Rookery Nook is a charmingly converted outbuilding just behind the owners' handsome house.  It is approached from the main road that leads from Hastings to Rochester but backs onto fields so you can easily forget the bustle of traffic in a peaceful rural setting.  The cottage is a short distance from the historic market town of Cranbrook and very close to Sissinghurst Castle Garden where Vita Sackville West and Harold Nicolson created their wonderful, world famous gardens, now managed by the National Trust.  Rookery Nook is an ideal location from which to explore the beautiful Weald of Kent and, with Staplehurst just up the road, has easy rail links to London, Canterbury and the coast. Many original features have been retained and the furniture has been thoughtfully chosen to complement the unique character of the historic building creating a comfortable and attractive cottage for two.  Shop: 1 mile  Pub:  1 mile  Coast: 22 miles

is tiled and beautifully fitted with wooden worktops and lovely big sink and has electric oven and hob, fridge, small freezer, microwave and washing machine

Sitting Room is very spacious, the tiled floor continues with decorative rugs, and has Dining Area with glass topped rattan table and four chairs and a Seating Area with two sofas, a well stocked bookcase, Freeview TV and DVD, a multi-fuel burner and large wooden chest doubling as coffee table plus door to garden. Off the kitchen is
Shower Room luxuriously fitted with large shower cubicle, attractive armoire providing useful storage, heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c. Beyond the sitting room and a small step up is
Bedroom which is carpeted, with super king-size bed (which can be separated to make twin beds if required), bedside tables, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, cheval mirror and basketweave ottoman and French doors to garden


Garden: A private partially walled garden is accessed from the dining room and has furniture set amongst the flowers and shrubs. There is also access to the owners' garden from the bedroom.
Parking: On a gravelled area adjacent to the main house.
Heating: Electric radiators and multi-fuel burner.
Also Provided: Comfortable Z bed is available. First basket of logs.
Notes: Please contact owner before arrival if you require beds in a different arrangement to above description. Please be aware that the owner's have a very friendly dog that is loose in the grounds.
